How to Choose the Right Flooring for Your Space

As you continue to implement the step-by-step action plan for opening a facility, the process of ordering the furnishings to equip the space of your dreams can be exciting and overwhelming. With a new and open floor plan as the perfect blank slate, where do you start? First stop, lay the foundation for your training space with the right flooring choice. Power Systems offers a variety of rubber flooring options that can be custom cut and designed to fit any room shape or size.

What is the best material for gym flooring?

Rubber is a great choice for workout spaces as it is highly versatile and sustainable. Unlike EVA tiles, rubber gym flooring is anti-static, sound dampening, and shock absorbent.  Rubber flooring also helps to prevent slippage during intense activity. In the free weights area, people may drop dumbbells, barbells, and other accessories. A thick layer of rubber gym flooring protects the floor and reduces the sound of those impacts. Lastly, rubber floors are easy-to-clean and non-absorbent to sweat and dirt.

Check out the breakdown of the rubber flooring options available from Power Systems.
